Position: Technical Assistant
Responsibilities
-
Assist with the day to day operations of the the design shop
-
Greet and assist customers as soon as they arrive at the design shop
-
Manage the office area of the design shop
-
Assist with in shop preparation for events
-
Assist the Lead Designer with floral needs & event preparation
-
Responsible for reshelving and organization hardware at the completion of events
-
Ensure design shop area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery
-
Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
-
Track inventory of design stock & office supplies
-
Able to stand on feet for 4-6 hours
-
Able to lift boxes up to 25 pounds
-
Perform other duties as assigned
Skills
-
Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role
-
Experience in the Microsoft Office Suite
-
Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
-
Professional attitude and appearance
-
Solid written and verbal communication skills
-
Experience planning events
-
Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
-
Excellent organizational skills
-
Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
-
Customer service attitude
-
High school degree; additional certification in Office Management is a plus

Position: Event Loading and Production Team Member
Responsibilities
-
Load/unload design products and hardware
-
Accurately distribute design products and hardware
-
Assemble and disassemble design hardware
-
Be aware of and follow all safety procedures as set forth by the company.
-
Work in a fast paced environment with a high focus on safety, quality, and customer service
-
Close interaction and work within a team environment
-
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
-
Driving box truck/van to events
-
Able to stand on feet for 4-6 hours or more
-
Able to lift boxes up to 50+ pounds repetitively and 20 pounds overhead
-
Perform other duties as assigned
